Head of strategy & operations
Jovana supports a large range of charities and social enterprises on strategy and planning, operational performance reviews and impact management. Jovana has managed multiple strategy developments and process and impact evaluations, ranging from health and social care providers through to children’s services and formal advocacy, and holds extensive experience in evaluation methodologies, survey design and stakeholder engagement. Outside of her client engagements, she leads on business development and internal operations at Aleron.
She previously worked with a charitable corporate foundation focusing on strategy, business development and project management. Here she established a corporate partnership service, a new operating and employment model, and led a multi-year funding agreement with a major donor. Prior to this, Jovana worked at EY specialising in Assurance within Financial Services.
Jovana is a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick. She speaks conversational Cantonese.
- Led the operational review of a large health and social care provider with over 500 care staff and designed a new operating model to improve efficiency, implement new ways of working and support future growth.
- Supported an award-winning social enterprise working with autistic adults to design their organisational Theory of Change and impact measurement framework, and develop their first impact report.
- Worked with a leading international children’s charity to develop a new reporting tool to measure and evaluate both the financial and non-financial benefits of different projects and partnerships.
