Noel has extensive practical experience of driving fundamental innovations in transforming industries, and of big data, analytics and digital technologies. He is passionate about innovation in banking including the enormous potential that mobile offers the unbanked population, especially in rural economies. Noel is a member of the board of Trustees of MyBnk, a member of the Ashoka Support Network and works with several social enterprises as both a coach to the leaders and as an adviser. Noel was also recently appointed as a Non-Executive Director of NHS England.
Noel formerly ran the global banking practice of Accenture and has spent most of his career in the banking industry. He has worked in Europe, Asia and North America for retail banks on improving their customer experience and implementing new technologies.
Additionally, he spent a decade working in Booz Allen Hamilton’s financial services practice, where he was partner-in-charge of the UK Banking practice. Prior to Booz Allen, he worked as a banker at JP Morgan and NatWest Group, where he led a range of retail and corporate banking teams.
